Does removing trip hazards make me safer?

Click the video below to learn more about trip hazards with Nymbl’s Dr. Estrada

Nymbl is committed to helping you achieve your best health, free from falling. This week, we’re discussing trip hazards.

Every day, there are trip hazards around you that may increase your risk of falling. However, simply removing them does not necessarily prevent you from falling. This is because trip hazards are often unavoidable, both inside and outside of your home. These daily movements, like stepping from your tile to your carpet or lifting your foot over a rug, are important training experiences for your brain and body.

If you’re struggling with balance or the fear of falling, you are not alone. At Nymbl, our goal is to empower you to live a confident and independent life. Nymbl is a scientifically-proven¹ approach to fall prevention that makes balance training both fun and effective by combining simple body movements with brain games to challenge your body and mind at the same time. Nymbl is fully covered by your health plan and is available at no additional cost to you.
